Anti-Hist Allergy

Provides fast relief from symptoms such as sneezing, nasal irritation, runny and blocked up nose, itchy, red, and watering eyes and skin rashes.

Anti-Hist contains cetirizine dihydrochloride. This is the active ingredient that blocks the effect of histamine which occurs naturally in the body and contributes to allergic reactions.

Advisory Notes

ADVISORY NOTES

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet (located in the product carton) or as your doctor or pharmacist have told you.  Do not exceed the stated dose. Consult your doctor if there is no improvement. Ask your pharmacist if you need more information or advice. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.  You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days.

Keep medicines out of the sight and reach of children. Available in Pharmacy only.  Always read the label.

Anti-Hist Allergy 10mg film-coated tablets. Adults, elderly and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet daily. Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5mg twice daily as a half tablet twice daily. Anti-Hist Allergy 1 mg/ml oral solution. Children aged 2 to 6 years: 2.5mg twice daily as 2.5 ml oral solution (a half-measuring spoon) twice daily. Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 mg twice daily as 5ml (one full measuring spoon) twice daily. Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 10 mg once daily as 10ml oral solution (2 full measuring spoons) once daily. Anti-Hist Allergy oral solution is not suitable for children under 2 years of age. Do not exceed stated dose. Contains cetirizine dihydrochloride.
