Know when the pollen count is high. Reduce your time outdoors and keep windows closed particularly at night.

If outdoors for long period, take a shower, wash your hair and change your clothes.

Wearing large wraparound glasses may help reduce the level of pollen irrating your eyes.

Try to avoid drying clothes and bedclothes outside. If you do, shake outside before bringing them indoors.

Minimise close contact with pets who have been outdoors as they are more likely to carry pollen in their coats.
